Deeper MeaningThe RevelationIntrinsic SignificanceThe Accomplishments of Christs ResurrectionOn the third day after His death, Christ resurrected. Three crucial, wonderful things were accomplished through His resurrection.
Christs resurrection from among the dead after His crucifixion designated (uplifted) His human nature into the divine sonship, producing Him to be the firstborn Son of God according to His humanity (Romans 1:4; 8:29; Acts 13:33). In Christs resurrection He, the last Adam, became the life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45b). Christs resurrection regenerated all the people chosen by God, making them the children (sons) of God and Christs many brothers (1 Peter 1:3; John 1:12; 20:17; Romans 8:29).
